Are you able to pair the Motorcycle communication system Chatterbox XBI2 with Chatterbox X1 bluetooth?

Friends have the X1 bluetooth, but I wanted something smaller and not so bulky. The Chatterbox XBI2 is newer, smaller and seems to be what I’m looking for, but I want to be able to communicate with my friends who have a X1 when riding. So are you able to pair the two together?

Henh ? I just yell across to my friends “Need gas yet ?”. (I don’t have a gas gauge on my bike.) Or “Smoke break !!”.
